Founded in 1995, John MacDonald Architect (JMA) believes that good design begins with a thorough exploration of the project context. Our Kitchener design studio actively seeks out expertise and opportunities for collaboration in an open, engaging environment, resulting in creative and innovative solutions specific to each project. JMA has developed a well-organized process that allows client and design team to work collaboratively toward commonly developed goals throughout the life of the project.
This project-centred approach has led us to develop JMA's Building Systems Approach, a quality control tool that ensures building systems are fully integrated into the design of every project from the very start. Our broader and more holistic look at all building systems in response to the project's needs and requirements is what makes our design studio unique.
