Our firm, and John in particular, have been leading advocates for the quality of our communities, their neighbourhoods and downtowns, design for the public realm, and the long-term prosperity and sustainability of the Grand River Watershed and our planet.
Our talent and expertise has been applied at the community scale in both urban and rural settings, through a broad range of projects and support for community initiatives.
We provide expertise on street lighting, design for place-making and public art, and are active proponents of well-managed change in neighbourhoods. Our work is informed by our values, and our belief that change must grow from its context rather than impose upon it. We are strong advocates for walkability, sustainability, and improved relationships between public and private interest. We advocate and design to support both individual initiative and our responsibilities to one another, as stewards of community and our planet.
