 Scarlett (Seo Yeon) Jang

Curiosity about new places, combined with a keen interest in how the design of spaces affects human behaviour, prompted Scarlett to pursue a career in architecture. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, she earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree and Master of Architectural Engineering there. She worked as a shipbuilding designer in South Korea over 10 years, designing deckhouses (which have similarities to mid-rise residential buildings) in many different kinds of commercial vessels. She joined the JMA team in 2022. On the personal side, she enjoys travelling to new places and camping in nature.
