 It Takes a Village...
A true community effort to make Delhi proud
Description:JMA worked closely with the Delhi Community Health Centre's volunteer Board, Director, doctors, nurses, staff and tenant partners using our workshop approach and Project Launch session to first understand their core values, confirm priorities, and then to design a welcoming addition that has been well-received by the community and its donor partners. The new health centre houses a new reception area, doctors' offices, exam rooms, a pharmacy, labs and expansion space for future use. The renovation relocated the main entrance to a central location of the facility and reconfigured the parking lot. The addition introduced a new palette of textures, materials and colours, that compliments the older portion and adds interest and excitement to the whole complex. The new addition, at right angles to the extisting building, is a beacon that reflects the optimism in this growing community.
